Clitoral Hood Reduction
Crumpled and loose skin on the sides of the clitoral hood can make the top or the vulva look wide and top heavy. This is usually from genetics plus chronic rubbing and pulling effects. Labia Minoraplasty can cause the clitoral area to look larger since the excess labia below have been removed drawing the gaze to the untreated clitoral area. Clitoral Hood Reduction is the removal of that excess skin.
I developed the Lateral Clitoral Hood Reduction to give a more petite and symmetric appearance and to add balance. I also developed another technique called Vertical Clitoral Hood Reduction to reduce the length and bulk even more dramatically when needed. The clitoral nerves are safely untouched. I do not unhood the clitoris with this procedure as that may result in irritation and hypersensitivity. I do this surgery in my office and it takes 30-60 minutes to complete under local anesthesia.
